Our Process
The process of creating your customized estate plan is a joint effort between you and DeCarli Law. Our goal is to create the best possible plan for you. To achieve that, we spend as much time as we need to get to know you, your family’s circumstances, and to thoroughly understand what your goals are.
We can meet with you by VIDEO or TELEPHONE.

Estate Planning Questionnaire
You will then receive a questionnaire to complete to provide us some basic information necessary to outline your customized plan.
Attorney Meeting
You, along with your spouse or partner, will then meet with Debra DeCarli. We can meet by conference call, virtual meeting, or telephone. At this meeting we will discuss the assets that you want to protect, and we will clarify your goals.
No in person meetings until further notice.
Follow Up Questions
Attorney Debra DeCarli will follow up with you as she is finalizing your documents to assure that everyone is on the same page.
Document Review and Signing
When the documents are final and ready for signatures, you, along with your spouse or partner, will meet with attorney Debra DeCarli for a final review and signing. If this needs to occur remotely, arrangements can be made.
We are keeping up to date on the best processes and procedures for signing documents during the COVID-19 outbreak.
Updating Your Estate Plan
Finally, an estate plan is an ongoing process. DeCarli Law will check in with you once a year, but you should always call if you have any changed circumstances. If you have more children or grandchildren, a death of a beneficiary, marry or divorce, or buy and sell real property, you will want to revise and update your plan.
As you see, it all starts with a brief, complimentary phone call. We welcome you to schedule your introductory call to learn more about how DeCarli Law can serve your family.
